We are John & Yvonne Lance, we live in a village just outside Evesham Worcs with our two children and three Leonbergers. We are members of the Leonberger Club of Great Britain.

 

 

 

 

 

I was brought up with dogs most of my life and we had a Labrador, Lady and a Cocker named Prince and my parents went on to have a wonderful Pekingese called Chicco and then a lovely Cavalier girl called Penny. I love these happy, playful well natured dogs, they are such a lovely breed. John had a Wire Haired Fox Terrier as a child who really ruled the roost.

 

We got introduced to Leos in 1998 when I read an artical and got the Leonberger book by Angela White. We went to see them at Crufts and decided we would love to have one.

We went to visit some who lived not too far away, the size of them gave my children a bit of a shock at the time. We were then approached to take on a fully grown 2 year old boy called Junior. I was unsure to start with as I planned on getting a pup to grow with the children but we said yes. That was us hooked, he was a lovely big boy and so gentle. We have three Leos at the moment Boden. our girl Kara and Archie the new boy.
